PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Villa Penelopy required a website that will effectively showcase their Villas and attract potential new guests, The most important thing was to provide a user friendly graphical user interface that provided an enjoyable browsing experience. The branding and site design should reflect the feel of the luxurious Villas and evoke emotion in the user.
The site should also provide the guests and travellers with useful information about Bali, what is near by, additional services such as airport transfers, spas and therapy, cafes and food, beach clubs, attractions, events etc.
In addition to the site Villa Penelopy required on going site maintenance support as well as search engine optimisation services.
SOLUTION:
The site was developed using large imagery of the Villa and each of its rooms. To give the customer the ability to get the feel for the Villas and a sense of confidence about their booking a “Virtual Tour” was developed which provides images of each room of the Villa on a floor plan and soon to come Videos of each are in the Villa.
The site also features a booking system, which enables Villa Penelopy to take bookings online. The booking system also provides the user with a Calendar,which shows the availability of the Villas all of which is controlled from the backend of CMS of the site.
The use of Blogs accompanied by Social media buttons and RSS feeds is a large contributing factor to the SEO strategy and Social Media Strategy for Villa Penelopy. Blogs featuring travel tips, restaurant reviews etc provide the use of the site with additional information but also serves as rich content for search engine optimisation. The use of these blogs on Social Media such as Facebook and G+ enables Villa Penelopy to get more exposure to potential customers via the social networks.
